Duval, Gabriel y Sybelle
Mientras tanto, Sybelle -mi pequeña sombra- miraba calladamente desde la otra habitación la acción en la sala, y no me percaté de ello hasta que vi la foto (además, en cuarto plano, se ve el cuadro de Titus, y si hubiera querido alinear a propósito 4 gatitos seguramente no lo habría conseguido).

i don't know what 'genial' means. i would guess you mean it was just a regular family snapshot and that you weren't paying attention to such things as space and lighting etc. when i saw it i thought: 'Diego Velázquez' las meninas!!!'
The photo really does have some elements of mannerist style. i like it.

Las Meninas? Me halaga, pero mejor que sean las "mininas"... aunque la única minina es Sybelle, ya que Duval es un minino "muy macho", diría mi hermano.
Genial... yeah, once in a while you shoot an inspired photograph. However, sometimes the outcome image was not premeditate at all; this is one of such cases.
I paid special attention to space and perspective trying to capture Duval and little Gabriel, but i didn't notice the quiet Sybelle staring at me while i was trying to get the best part of that pink nose and those blue eyes. And i certainly wasn't giving a thought to the portrait of a cat that i left in the floor some days ago. But as you saw, it all entered the foreshort arrangement in a beautiful way. So, once in a while you get a picture like this at the very first shot.
